This piece began on the basis of the two colorways meeting in a form of motion, like water, or like air, with a small divide between them creating tension between the bands of colors. The windswept woman was added later, a friend pointed out she could be an allusion to Diana, in Greek myth, which all together, and added with, the emotion of the woman and what could be wondered she is gazing upon or waking up to implies a powerful draw or pull toward something mighty and awe-inspiring. Ideas of the transition from life to death or reality to dream are prevalent with the sensation the woman in the piece is experiencing something intense and moving and possibly other-worldly.
