One of Ones
rain-light on window-streets
12x16
Acrylic on canvas
This piece is centered on seeing the streets outside through the rain at night. The skew of perspective with the blur of streetlights and headlights or tail-lights through the rain in the dark. It's presented through the soothing effect of listening or watching the rain fall down from inside and letting the mind go with it. I approached this work with the idea of capturing a moment that is both introspective and busy. A mind that might be restless but also reassured at the euphoric sounds of the rain.
